Hosted by Faith Salie, CBS Sunday Morning contributor and star of Planet Green's Treehugger TV, News Distillery panelists include MTV and Comedy Central writer-producer Gideon Evans, McSweeney's advice columnist and web show host Alison Rosen, New York Times "The Ethicist" columnist Randy Cohen and comedians Brian Donovan (NBC and VH1 writer/performer), Dean Obeidallah (The View and Comedy Central's Axis of Evil) and Chuck Nice (The Today Show, TruTV), who face off in a no-holds barred competition to be the funniest, fastest, best-informed and possibly prettiest news junkie in New York. The Arabs Gone Wild Tour continues this fall featuring Aron Kader, Maysoon Zayid, me and a few funny local Arab comics in each city. The tour is produced by the nation's biggest tour promoter Live Nation in association with the NY Arab-American Comedy Festival.
After sold out shows in the Spring in Washington, DC, San Francisco, Anaheim and LA, we are excited to announce these tour dates for fall:
-Thursday, September 16, 2010 Sacramento, Calif. at The Punchline Comedy Club;
Saturday, September 18, 2010 Seattle, Washington at The Triple Door;
-Sunday, Portland, Oregon at The Aladdin Theater;
- Saturday, October 2 NYC - Arabs Gone Wild on Broadway!! Arab comedians will be taking over a Broadway theater for the first time ever for this show at the famed Town Hall Theater!
